Dizraeli is on tour in the UK this month - tickets here: Filmed by Kath Pickering at the Kora Workshop, Senegal - Mohammed Aliou-Ba (Alia), albino master from Guinea Conakry, was my friend and balafon teacher in Senegal. He’s one of them all-round musical geniuses who murks any instrument he picks up: guitar, djembe, singing... and this supernatural skill on balafon. I hope to be able to tour with him in Europe one day.
