All vocals are sang by me, this is not Michael Jackson singing. Work on “Your Excuse“ started a couple months ago. I worked on it with my friend Kenny for a long time. An earlier demo of the track had the returning catch-line of “I’d cross this desert for you“, which was later changed to “Won’t take your stupid excuse“. This demo of the song had lyrics about an Arabian girl, and how Michael would cross the desert for her, just to be with her. The song was produced by myself and features an instrumentation based on the Invincible era, with all vocals and backing vocals sang by myself and a select great adlibs done by Kenny. Please enjoy this track, but keep in mind that this is not Michael Jackson’s work. It was made with Michael Jackson’s style, both instrumentally and vocally, in mind.
