How both praying silently and being opposed to the monarchy became criminal offences in Britain

There is now a single acceptable set of views about everything from homosexuality to the monarchy and anybody who voices dissent is liable to be arrested. Yesterday saw many arrests of people who had done nothing at all except hold a view about the coronation which differed from the majority of the population.
