This Ukrainian serviceman is originally from Severomorsk, Murmansk region (Russia). He was captured by the Russians in the Kursk region. Here is his story: I was detained by an enlistment officer in the city of Kharkov. I went to the market to buy groceries, but they loaded me into a bus, took me to the military enlistment office, registered me, issued me a draft card, and sent me to the city of Desna to be trained as a rifleman. Then we were sent to Wildflecken, Germany, for a crash course. When we entered the territory of the Russian Federation, we were told to go in and stay there for a couple of days. Our officers, our commanders, instructed us to enter populated areas, to loot and to rob, to be bad to civilians. After we entered the Kursk region, our commanders disappeared, leaving us to our own devices without any further instructions. We were forced to surrender.
