️ Rostec aircraft manufacturers are ready to return to the creation of the 5th generation vertical take-off aircraft. The Yakovlev Experimental Design Bureau began work on such a machine in the late 1950s. 60 years ago, the Yak-36 first took to the skies, the demonstration of which at the aviation festival in Domodedovo in 1967 became a world sensation. The Yak-36 is the first prototype of a domestic vertical take-off and landing aircraft. The aircraft became a kind of “technology demonstrator.“ Test - on video. Using the accumulated experience, the specialists of the Yakovlev Design Bureau began to create a single-seat ship attack aircraft Yak-38, which during the tests first landed on a warship and was adopted by the Navy.
