“The Entry“ from Killing Zoe (1994)

These scenes were filmed in an empty bank in downtown Los Angeles, doubling for Paris. We painted the bank deeper shades of red the deeper one goes into the vault so as to be a metaphor for the mind of the Eric character. If one looks carefully you’ll see not only porn god Ron Jeremy pulling a cameo, but also two large murals I had painted on the walls of the bank of Jacques David’s Oath of the Horatii.
