I have the huge pleasure to present to you what I’d consider, right now, the best track I made so far. And it wouldn’t have been possible without the help of the wonderful and amazing vocalist, Felicia Farerre. This song is, for me, an achievement. A milestone reached and I’m very proud of it. Felicia and I did our best and we hope you’ll like it! :D So here’s some informations/backstory about this song: as you might have guessed, it’s Daybreaker-themed. Though, the singer doesn’t sing as Daybreaker but as a High-Priestess of the Cult of the Sun - a cult that worship the eternal day and learned about Daybreaker in a special book (stolen) that relates secret and dark stories of the past. The High-Priestess chant for the return of her goddess, for the almighty sun and to destroy the nightmares and foes from the Night. Eventually, she managed to invoke Daybreaker... and the Sun of the Night’s eternal reign begin! I would like to thank Felicia who helped me a lot with this track. She gave me advices and ideas for the instrumental, and was an angel to work with. It was a pleasure to work with her and I’d love to do it again! :) Since it’d be rude to not intruduce such a great singer, here’s a little biography (from her official website that’s linked below): Felicia Farerre is a vocalist that appears on three public albums by Two Steps From Hell: “Battlecry“, “Classics (Volume 2)“, “Vanquish“ and more recently “Unleashed“. She has also appeared in the single “Christmas Medley“. Besides Two Steps From Hell, she has also done vocal work for many other artists, mostly her husband Phil Rey, and released many singles. She was awarded the honor of Best Female Vocalist by Trailer Music News in 2013, and was nominated for an HMMA award in 2016. She also had the honor of having a presence on the Billboard Charts at number one for the longest time allowed in association with her work as the lead vocalist of The Taliesin Orchestra. Felicia recently released her fifth epic, ethereal, vocal music album in partnership with Phil Rey called “Winter’s Dream“. And finally, as always, here comes a lot of links!
