At Centura College, the Biomedical Equipment Technology program introduces students to a wide variety of skills including the install, testing and calibrating of medical equipment, repairing and replacing parts associated with medical equipment, and performing preventive maintenance and servicing medical equipment. Coursework includes foundations in electronics, basic networking, biomedical instrumentation, basic anatomy and physiology, and biomedical troubleshooting and repair.
