HOW THE CHATEAU WON A TV COMPETITION - BIENVENUE CHEZ NOUS!!!

VERY IMPORTANT ADDITION!!! I recorded this video just before the series was shown on French television, and it has since caused a scandal in France. The nation has taken against a pair of our competitors, Audrey and Dimitri, for their criticisms of the other bed and breakfasts, most especially the Chateau de Lalande. Everyone’s support has mean a great deal to all of us at Lalande, but I would like to urge people to also be kind to Audrey and Dimitri. We’re all entitled to our opinions, especially in matters of taste. Not everyone loves the aesthetic of a traditional, historic home. I think that Audrey and Dimitri would have preferred minimalist, modern, designer surroundings. And whilst we will never see eye to eye on the type of home that we want to create and offer to the world, I don’t think they deserve the depth of backlash that they’ve received.
