How to turn your Casio SK-1 into a Moog Series III synthesizer. Part 2
You can watch Part 1 (side A) here:
Step 1: Acquire “The Nonesuch Guide to Electronic Music“ on vinyl (Nonesuch Records HC-73018 Stereo 2-record set)
Step 2: Put it on your turntable and connect the record player output (left or right, your choice.) to the Casio SK-1 sample line input.
Step 3: Sample a sound from the record.
Step 4: Make music.
Side A of “The Nonesuch Guide to Electronic Music“ is being sampled in this video.
The Casio SK-1 is being played through an Akai Headrush E-1 delay with an approx. 10 second delay.
A Sony stereo cassette recorder was used to record the first 1/3 of this performance.
A Library of Congress C-78 cassette player was used to play back the recording made with the Sony cassette recorder backward at half-speed.
This side B of a two record set. Side C and D to come.
