This short video talks about the Pulse autocycle and some of the features. The Litestar and the Pulse are the same vehicle. These were manufactured in Owosso, Michigan by the Owosso Motor Car Co. between 1985 and 1990. About 347 were manufactured. The first 21 vehicles were called Litestars, then the name was changed to Pulse. No difference between the two autocycles. The first 250 had the air-cooled Yamaha 400cc engine. The last 100 vehicles were built at Ed Butcher’s farm and were fitted with used Honda Goldwing 1100cc or 1200cc engines. As far as values go, in 2000, a Pulse in excellent condition, sold for $12,000, in 2010, that same Pulse in excellent condition sells for $25,000. If you can find a clean Pulse with a good windshield and good body, it should sell for $10,000. It will probably need, new paint, tires, engine overhaul or at least carbs rebuilt, brakes repaired, etc. to be brought up to good running condition.
