Exploring Lisbon Portugal | Food Reviews and Unforgettable Beauty

It was early 2020 and we had just finished up an unbelievable itinerary to visit Portugal and Spain. We had Michelin Star Restaurants booked, beautiful hotels, and even Paella cooking classes. Then - Covid 19 wrecked our world as we knew it, especially for the international travelers. Since then, we’ve always talked about going to Lisbon. Finally, we’ve made it happen. This time with our almost 1 year old, Vivienne. This will be the first episode in our Portugal Series. Lisbon is such an incredible place. As much as we researched it and watched countless Youtube vlogs, it still exceeded expectations. In this video, we find some local food treasures and see some unbelievable architecture along on the way. This video is much longer than our average travel vlogs, but there was no way to break it up in our eyes. Matt got sick our last full day in Lisbon and we did very little. It’s unfortunate because we missed out on some big things that Lisbon has to offer, like Belem, the Castle, riding the 28 Tram, and so much more. (including other food we didn’t get to try). Despite that setback, this was still an epic adventure through an amazing and historical city. We hope you enjoy the video. We have several more coming from our trip, and we can’t wait to start working on the others right away. 🎼All music was uploaded from Epidemic Sound. It has now become our passion and we love diving into new foreign cultures, food, and attractions. We started making home DVDs for our own keepsake many years ago. It was a great way to preserve memories and re-live those moments whenever we wanted. We eventually found that uploading these videos to YouTube made a lot of sense. We could share them with family and friends across the country in real time, on smart TVs, Ipads, and smart phones. That eventually led to us creating the “Matt n Rach” YouTube Channel. Our focus now is not only to preserve our memories, but to include educational and useful information for our viewers as well. In 2022 we had our daughter, Vivienne, who is now a big part of our traveling team. Traveling with a small child certainly has its challenges, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. We hope you enjoy our content and please leave a comment if you liked our video or have some something you’d like to share. We love hearing from our viewers!!
