Jon Bon Jovi and Friends Live at Starland Ballroom. New Jersey 2009

Probably the most special and exciting Jon solo gig we’ve ever had, covering all eras from his solo endeavours as well as him going into band songs and tracks that influenced him. Since the Soundboard version was on Sirius as well as on Experience, it was not used here. Instead, I went with a beautiful sounding audience recording that I personally even prefer because it captured the vibe of the show even better. Similar to how we did it with Rotterdam 1989 a few weeks ago. Not all of the show was filmed, but this was pieced together by a friend of mine back in the day from a good number of nice audience clips. The parts inbetween are filled with nice photos from this particular gig. Near the end, when the songs are more into the “known Jovi territory“, the video material gets less but the exciting tracks are all filmed in decent quality! This one is also worth it for the anecdotes Jon tells about the place and the songs! Video slightly adjusted and audio completely remastered!
