The 155 thousand hectares is unique for its white sand dunes and topaz lagoons that the wind reshapes endlessly. ☞ About RY X - Lençóis (Love Me) (Notre Dame Remix) RY X initially composed Lençóis (Love Me) for his live performance at the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park for Cercle. Writing the song, he “wanted to feel like it belonged to both (his) heart, and the waters and hills of this place:“ “Creating and producing the song took on a life of its own spurred on by the images in my mind of these shapes of land and water“. In his interview, he portrayed the nature around him as “feminine“. Lençóis (Love Me) became both “a cry of the heart to be understood deeply, especially to be taken in and held by the feminine unconditionally“, and “a lament out to those lands in that same way too“. Notre Dame embraced both RY X’s melancholic expression and the beauty of Lençóis in his rework. He describes it as “a sensory journey, drawing from the magic of this landscape and its white sand dunes.“ The result is a masterful remix that skilfully combines electronic and orchestral elements, leaving a lasting imprint of the magic of the Lençóis Maranhenses in our hearts and minds. Paralleling the sound, we reworked the original images of the Cercle show at Lençóis Maranhenses National Park to offer a new audiovisual experience.
