Tommy Tries It Out! (1932)

Full title reads: “Catterick. Tommy tries it out! Men of the 1st Batt. Durham Light Infantry - first regiment to parade in new uniform.“ Catterick, North Yorkshire. Ranks of soldiers of the 1st Battalion Durham Light Infantry wearing a new design in military battlefield uniform. Of particular note is the new design of cap they are wearing. Tilt up a soldier wearing the new uniform. Group of soldiers run about in field - they are giving the new kit a test. Shot of one soldier - he removes his ’deer stalker’ hat and folds it up. He then replaces it. He fastens the neck of his shirt. Soldiers demonstrate various different designs of the new trouser.
