LIVE: Protests against agricultural subsidy cuts continue across Germany

Hundreds of German farmers, haulers and business owners continue protesting against the federal government’s planned agricultural subsidy cuts in Hannover on Thursday, January 11. It comes despite a partial u-turn last week, with the government scrapping plans to remove the vehicle tax exemption and deciding to phase in the abolition of tax breaks for agricultural diesel. Farmers across Germany began a week-long strike on Monday. The campaign will culminate in a major protest event in Berlin on January 15. #germany #protests #farmers #breakingnews ---------------------------------- Source Global News is a no spin, no agenda news channel.
