After 3 months, Kiev’s offensive plans are now extending to Kherson as well as Zaporizhia. After encircling the Russians in Velyka Novosilka and Orikhiv, the Ukrainians began to shift their offensive direction further southwest of these areas. Russia, on the other hand, became increasingly vulnerable as it was squeezed on the southern Ukrainian front lines. The landing operations of the Ukrainian naval forces in Dnipro and the daily destruction of Russian boats have greatly bolstered Kiev’s offensive efforts in the Kherson island region. Most recently, we witnessed the sinking of 7 Russian boats into the depths of the Dnipro River.
