Item title reads - Omens of Peace. Remarkable scenes in Irish Capital. - Crowds cheer Unionist Delegates. Dublin, Ireland. Delegates walk through the crowds who cheer them. Intertitle - ’Unattended and unprotected General Macready attends the Meeting, he was escorted by Sinn Fein Volunteers!’ The volunteers shout and wave as they surround General Macready and lead him through the crowds. Intertitle - ’Crowds pray for success of the Conference’ Crowds stand looking at the camera, they pray and cross themselves. We see the General and others leaving, they get in a car and are driven away. Note: the section after the last intertitle appears to be a longer version of the item ’Prayer for Peace’ in G 787 on *PM0238*. This item is not listed in the official issue sheet for G 787.
