George Moustaki - Le Facteur Grand Gala Live - TopPop

Giuseppe (Yussef) Mustacchi (Alexandria, 3 May 1934 - Nice, 23 May 2013), better known as Georges Moustaki (Greek: Ζορζ Μουστακί), was a French singer and composer of Greek-Jewish descent. He gained international fame in 1968 with his song “Le Métèque“ written by himself. Since then Moustaki has recorded many well-known songs, especially in French, but also in Italian, Hebrew, Greek, English, Spanish and Yiddish. In January 1970 he gave his first major concert in Bobino. Numerous performances in many countries have followed.
