While Lisa wasn’t in the first seasons of the Ice Road Truckers, and only joined in later, she won the love of viewers by being fearless, determined, and simply possessing more guts than most people had ever seen anyone possess. In the eight seasons of the Ice Road Truckers she was, she continually brought her A-game to set and was never really caught lacking. She faced every storm, every sharp bend, and every frozen lake she had to drive over with the grittiest determination and complete trust in her truck and her abilities. And doing that took a toll on her. That’s partly why she wasn’t on set at all for season 6 of the show, despite being available for three seasons before that. Who could blame her, though? The constant coverage of her very dangerous job and constant work proved to be very overwhelming for her.
