It was the worst fire disaster in the history of the State.
Forty-eight people died when The Stardust nightclub in Dublin went up in flames in the early hours of St Valentine’s Day in 1981.
Full inquests into their deaths have been sitting for almost a year, after decades of campaigning.
As Samantha Libreri reports, it has been a very long wait for the families of the 48 young people who died in the tragedy.
