News footage from various channels of the 1992 LA riots. Tensions started with the not guilty verdict of the police officers involved in the Rodney King beating. Ignited by the beating of truck driver Reginald Denny at the corner of Florence and Normandie on April 29, rioting continued for several days. Arson, gunfire, and mass looting of large department stores to small family owned businesses. Men, women and children break in windows and doors and carry TVs and furniture. Molotov cocktails thrown by arsonists. Korean store owners protect their businesses in Koreatown with shotguns. Ordinary citizens beaten and attacked by mobs.
