Gods And Generals is a very controversial film, garnering love and hate from Civil War buffs and historians round the states. However, despite the flaws, I believe this film is incredibly tragic, beautiful, uplifting, and sorrowful. This is not a propaganda piece, nor a Lost Cause diatribe.
