On February 7, 2018, California College of Music welcomed guitarist Andre Nieri, who gave this amazing artist clinic. Andre, the winner of the 2014 Guitar Idol competition, showcases his mesmerizing guitar works, and entertains with his technical mastery and blending of styles. Andre also speaks about his background, answers questions on his experiences in the music industry, and gives advice to aspiring musicians. Andre is a member of the Virgil Donati Band (alongside recent CCM clinician Anthony Crawford) and cites the musical influences of Tom Jobim, J.S. Bach, Allan Holdsworth, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, John Coltrane, Olivier Messiaen, and Pat Metheny.
