Israel’s military releases new footage showing Hamas attack

Israel’s Defence forces have released new footage that shows the moment Hamas militants went on a brutal rampage in the south of the country. Israel has said that ground forces have mounted limited raids to fight Palestinian gunmen and that air strikes are being focussed on sites where Hamas was assembling to fight an Israeli invasion. “During the night there were raids by tank and infantry forces. These raids are raids that kill squads of terrorists who are preparing for our next stage in the war. These are raids that go deep,” Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said in a televised briefing. They also used the raids to try to gather information on the 222 hostages being held by Hamas, he said.
