ICARUS by ybd.

ICARUS is my latest experimental chassis, a brutalist re-imagining of contemporary PC design with the traditional ybd flair. As always I strived to create something simple and concise but not without challenging the status quo of modern computer design. Like most of the things I create, this is meant to be functional art (and in this case a lot more of the focus on art than function), and therefore was intended only to be made once for my specific use case. If I had to do it again, there are a lot of things I would change, but I think that is true for any project. A huge thanks to Kyle for all those weekends helping build the loop! I honestly did very little on both designing and building the loop and would not have been able to compelte this project without his help! Really looking forward to sitting down with him and talking more about this project and how he approaches loop design. Another big thanks to all the support from my discord & IG. These projects are alot of fun but do take many weekends and months to complete. Without the support and encourdgment of the people around me I don’t think I would be able to do any of this.
