No-Turning-Chain dc Evolved

This tutorial is for an improvement on a stitch I introduced about six years ago. This stitch is an alternative to the turning chain that counts as your first double crochet at the beginning of a row. If you had trouble making the stitch before, I think you will find the evolution of the stitch to be a vast improvement. At the end of a row of crochet pull up a long loop to about the height of a double crochet. Turn the work. Insert the hook into the top of the stitch of the row below. Yarn over and pull
