WHO Verifies 277 Israeli attacks On Hospitals In Gaza | Developing | Dawn News English

On November 2, 2023, the Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus held a press briefing on the situation in Gaza. Dr. Tedros mentioned that 14 out of 36 hospitals in the Gaza strip are non-functional, and 23 hospitals have been ordered to evacuate in Gaza city and North Gaza. Forced evacuation in these circumstances would put the lives of hundreds of patients in a life-threatening situation. Dr. Tedros described the situation as “indescribable” and “horror unfolding in Gaza”. Since Hamas’s attacks on Israel on October 7, more than 10,000 people have been killed, including more than 8,500 in Gaza.
