Future Plans in English Conversation | Will, Going to, Present Continuous, Present Simple
Learn future tenses in English conversation! There are different ways to use future tense. in this video, we show you how to speak about the future with four different grammar tenses.
Future simple - use ’will’ for quick decisions and predictions. (example: I will come with you.)
Going to - for future intentions, and predictions about the future (example: I’m going to study this weekend)
Present continuous - for future arrangements (I’m travelling to Australia next week.)
Present simple - for scheduled events in the future and phrases with ’if’ or ’when’ (example: the show starts at 8:00 tonight.)
