World’s Longest Underwater Tunnel (1927)

M/S men at work in a shaft, drilling, moving trucks of debris. Exterior high angle shot of an open area in a city with walkways across a park. There is a brief shot of an archway and cyclists. Two men stand by a lake, a woman stands by a tree as a man takes a punt out onto a lake. M/S of a large greenhouse with a man coming out and walking away. Near a dam, some men look at the river bed below. There is a building nearby, probably an electricity power station. A nurse ushers some children inside a hut on bleak hilltop. There are other nurses in pinafores and caps with children dressed in white sun hats and grey looking knickers.
