“The Rudimental Ritual“ by Marvin “Smitty“ Smith played on the drumset (now with pdf)

Years ago I´ve been given a copy of Mr. Smiths´version of Alan Dawsons “Ritual“ and it has been a big part of my practising routine ever since. To get the most out of it I´ve been playing it with brushes and sticks on different surfaces and also with different foot patterns. At some point of time I have had the idea to tranfer the whole thing to the drumset and began to look for ways to apply the different parts what´s generally considered to be “ the classic Jazz drumset“. My goal was to create an exercise that would help my drumset playing overall, but especially making me move around the kit more fluently and work on hitting different parts of the kit with different limbs in unison. here´s what I´ve come up with - and you can download a pdf for free here but of course there are many more different ways for you to creat your own version(s) :) I would
