Building a Remotely Operated Vehicle (Episode 1) - The PVC Pipe ROV
Welcome to the Thalassic Focus channel. Today, we’re going to build a simple PVC pipe Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) for shallow water exploration.
For the PVC pipe frame, I replicated a design from the Smithsonian’s ROV building manual and made minor modifications to accommodate the dive lights. The following link takes you to their building manual:

For the controller, I used an Arduino Uno with an L298n module to control the two side thrusters with a joystick module. Instructions and the code for this setup can be found at the following link:
For the middle vertical thruster, I used a toggle switch to turn it on and off.
