They can be made as simple or as complicated as you’d like to make them! We show you how to get started and share some useful tips for making a leather bag from scratch. We walk you through making a simple pattern, placing handles, sewing a pocket, and how to close up the bag neatly without having to flip the bag inside out. For this bag we used some vegetable tanned leather around 5-6oz, nylon waxed thread, and some solid brass pop rivets and line 24 snaps. Happy Crafting!
