Yes this is the actual video from one of the most strangest albums in shall we say Rock music ! Pat Boone wanted to make an album with famous Rock hits in his very own style, which he did. The final outcome was a album called “In a Metal Mood No More Mr. Nice Guy“ released in 1997. There were all sorts of Heavy Rock hits including one of THE rock hit, our very own Smoke.... And that’s not all, on every version of every song there were guest musicians most of them were the original creators of those songs. For example here you can see and hear performance of Smoke... with guest star believe or not Ritchie Blackmore, he even appears on this video during his solo. If you pay attention you can also see late Ronnie Dio in the studio, he was a guest on a version of his anthem Holy Diver. Hope someone will like this strange fragment in Purple family...
