Dr. Fauci says Healthy People Don’t Drive Epidemics

On January 28, 2020 Anthony Fauci made these comments at the Department of Health and Human Services. Fauci also reversed himself about masks and when “hook-up“ app use was exploding he said, “If you’re willing to take a risk — and you know, everybody has their own tolerance for risks — you could figure out if you want to meet somebody. If you want to go a little bit more intimate, well, then that’s your choice regarding a risk.“ Here’s the transcript of his words above, at 44 minutes into a C-SPAN carried HHS Coronavirus news conference: “The one thing historically that people need to realize, that even if there is some asymptomatic transmission, IN ALL THE HISTORY of respiratory borne viruses of any type, asymptomatic transmission has never been the driver of outbreaks. The driver of outbreaks is always a symptomatic person, even if there’s a rare asymptomatic person that might transmit, an epidemic is not driven by asymptomatic carriers.“ See also,
