Matthew Perry case: Arrests made in overdose death, TMZ reports | LiveNOW from FOX
Multiple arrests have been made in connection with the investigation into the death of “Friends“ actor Matthew Perry, including a doctor, TMZ reported Thursday.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ that multiple law enforcement agencies executed search warrants and seized computers, phones and other electronic equipment to determine who supplied Perry with the ketamine that caused him to lose consciousness last October and drown in his hot tub.
Perry had been getting ketamine infusion therapy for anxiety and depression, but the last therapy was a week and a half before his death, so the ketamine in his system was not doctor-prescribed.
The Department of Justice was expected to hold a news conference on Thursday afternoon to reveal details of the arrests.
