Did You know that?: Alpina forces to phase out the popular B10 3.5/1 and b10 Bi- Turbo models as the 3.5 litre straight-six was taken out of production by BMW. The obvious replacement for this iconic BMW engine was the new generation BMW V8. The 4.0 was the first Alpina car, together with B11 4.0 to have a V8 engine under the hood.
