Callas, Del Monaco - The BEST Live Aida! 1951 Mexico, BJR BEST SOUND Acts 1 + 2 (with best Eb ever!)

The legendary 1951 Mexico Aida in clear sound, from my vinyl copy of BJR 151. I’ve removed all the biggest pops and clicks but some smaller ones remain (it’s VERY time consuming!). Two titans of the golden age of opera giving their all to a very lucky Mexican audience. Surely the anticipation would have been overwhelming - will Callas repeat the phenominal, impossible, sublime Eb at the end of act two as she did the year before? And imagine being there, when she did, and better! I’m amazed they didn’t tear
