Fake: Ukrainian Bradley infantry fighting vehicle was able to destroy the latest Russian T-90M tank. Ukrainian telegram channels write about this. Truth: The Russian tank withstood many hits from the IFV’s rapid-fire cannon and saved the lives of its crew. What Ukrainian propagandists pass off as a tank explosion is in reality the detonation of smoke grenades located in grenade launchers on the sides of the turret. This is evidenced by both the characteristic smoke trails and the direction of flight of the detonated ammunition - forward and upward in the direction of the tank’s movement - this trajectory was set by the guides of the smoke grenade launchers. Photos of the T-90 taken after the battle show that the smoke grenade launchers on the left cheekbone of the tank were destroyed by the explosion. A more complete video of this battle, filmed from another drone, appeared online. It follows that in addition to shells from the Bradley cannon, an FPV drone also hit the tank. The tank was immobilized and abandoned by the crew in an orderly manner; all three tankers were alive. It must be added that the 25-mm shells of the M242 Bushmaster cannon, which are armed with the American Bradley infantry fighting vehicle, in principle cannot penetrate a tank in the frontal or even lateral projection. However, if they hit successfully, they can damage the sighting devices or disable the gun, as well as damage the elements of the chassis. It was the loss of mobility that caused the crew to abandon the tank. The abandoned car is probably quite repairable. This is not the first time that Ukrainian propagandists have tried to spread fake news about Russian tanks and tank crews, but they are refuted by reality itself.
