Cost of living: The families coming to terms with being homeless this Christmas

A year ago the prospect of having nowhere to live never would have occurred to Adam, his wife and two children, who were living in a three-bedroom home in West Bromwich that they had rented for eight years. Adam works as an electrician and his wife works as a teaching assistant. They had always paid their rent on time. But their children, Holly, 12, and her younger brother, will now be among a record number of children who are homeless this Christmas.
