Historic achievement - 4000 winners for Aidan O’Brien

Ballydoyle trainer Aidan O’Brien recorded his 4000th career winner following Henry Longfellow’s brilliant performance in the G1 Goffs Vincent O’Brien National Stakes. The two-year-old stretched his unbeaten record to three wins from as many starts with a smooth performance in the seven-furlong event. Ridden by Ryan Moore, the pair eased clear to justify 10/11 favouritism and record a five-length win in the process. Stable companion City Of Troy was withdrawn prior to the race.
