Chvrches pay tribute to Depeche Mode’s Andy Fletcher, play Clearest Blue, live in San Francisco (4K)

Earlier that day, Depeche Mode posted that their founding keyboardist, Andy Fletcher, had just passed away. Chvrches lead singer Lauren Mayberry acknowledged, “this next song would not exist without Depeche Mode.“ Clearest Blue originally appeared on the band’s second studio album, Every Open Eye (2015). Chvrches is a British synth-pop band from Glasgow, Scotland consisting of Lauren Mayberry (lead vocals), Iain Cook (keyboards), and Martin Doherty (guitar).
