The Last Samurai

***** “...I like to think he may have at last found some small measure of peace, that we all seek, and few of us ever find.“ As some of you may know The Last Samurai is probably one of my favourite movies ever. Every time I watch it I cannot resist crying like a little kid. The message that this movie conveys hits the core deeply for me. Now that I’m reading Yukio Mishima’s “Runaway Horses“ about Shinpūren Rebellion and more I understand their culture more emotional this movie gets for me.
