Who Said Golf? Aka Nervo And Knox (1946)

Item title reads - Who said golf? The Crazy Gang have fun on Ham Manor golf course, Sussex. M/S as a car pulls up to the front door. The car door opens and Billy Caryll gets out pulling reluctant Hilda Mundy after him. The rest of the team get out with some difficulty, they include Arthur Askey, Elsie Randolph, Jimmy Nervo and Teddy Knox. Teddy brings his bicycle and Jimmy is dressed up in a very large coat. M/S as they run onto the course and scrabble for the ball in the grass. Teddy Knox prepares to play, after much messing about he finally strikes the ball. Nervo comes up, swings his club and falls over. Arthur Askey swings, everyone looks down the green and he quickly picks up the ball and puts it in his pocket to disguise the fact he has missed altogether. They move on to the next hole, Billy is in a bunker and tries to hit the ball but fails miserably every time, the others stand round counting the strikes.
