Tram Day Crich Tramway Village 2017

Another superb day of vintage tramway action is featured in this film as Crich Tramway Village held its annual Tram Day. The star attraction was Bournemouth 85 recently acquired by the Society which was on display on the depot fan for most of the day. The day also commemorated the 80th anniversary of the Brush Railcoach in Blackpool and 60 years since the closure on the Liverpool System in 1957. An intensive tram service operated throughout the day which thankfully stayed dry. There were photographic opportunities with trams extracted from the exhibition hall as well as a Book Sale and model demonstration in the Great Exhibition Hall. Thank you to all the organisers, staff and volunteers who worked so hard to make it such a brilliant action packed day. Trams in service were:- Chesterfield 7, Blackpool 166, Blackpool 167, Blackpool 236, Leeds 345, Glasgow 22, Blackpool 40, LCC 106, Leeds 399, LUT 159, MET 331, Blackpool 630, Blackpool 762, Liverpool 869, Cardiff 131, Blackpool Locom
