The Illusion of Detail

I apologise for the bad sound quality. Since I made this video I have much better microphones and a decent pop filter. How to paint detail without detail using oils. Colours used, sap green, cadmium red, red ochre, ultramarine blue, titanium white, yellow ochre (small amount in the sky) and royal blue.
