In “Tony Montana“, he takes on the character of Tony Montana from the film Scarface to ruminate on the nature of success, ambition, and envy. Originally this is a collaboration with the rapper Yankie. But at BTS 3rd Muster ARMY ZIP, Suga performed the song with Jimin and it’s a legendary stage for ARMY! The lyrics were rewritten to fit Jimin. Scarface is a 1983 American violent crime drama film that tells the story of Cuban refugee Tony Montana (Al Pacino), who arrives penniless in Miami and becomes a powerful and extremely homicidal drug lord. Suga sings “The World is Yours” and that comes directly from the movie. Tony gets shot in the back and falls from his balcony into a fountain with a statue of the globe with “The World is Yours” inscribed.
