3 Day Trip from Tokyo to Kyoto via Hakone |

Learn more about this trip from Tokyo to Kyoto via Hakone: On this three day trip we’ll travel from Tokyo to Kyoto, making a stop at scenic Hakone between the two. We start among the skyscrapers of Shinjuku and then explore the sights and natural beauty of Hakone. Then it’s on to Kyoto to walk through the historical and charming Gion district. Finally we end with a hike and luxurious kawadoko meal in the verdant Kurama and Kibune area in the mountains to the north of Kyoto before visiting legendary Kiyomizudera and heading home. Along the way we utilize two different discount passes to save money, the Odakyu Hakone Freepass and the Kyoto Osaka Sightseeing Pass (Greater Kurama and Kibune Area). *Please not that at the moment (September 2019), the Hakone Ropeway is closed and substitute buses operating instead.
