Winter Day At The Cabin | Making Bone Broth

Welcome back to the channel! I’m back up at the cabin by myself and have a few things planned for today. We got a light dusting of snow last night and it finally looks like winter is here to stay. I make bone broth a few times a year, usually in 20L batches and it’s about that time when I need to make another batch. Today I will show you how I make our bone broth/ chicken stock and walk you through how to properly preserve it for the shelf. While the broth is simmering away, I will cook my lunch outside over the fire and enjoy the mild snowy weather. This is the time of year when most of our free time is spent at the cabin because there’s not much going on around the homestead. Our long-term plan is to end up in a tiny off-grid cabin in the woods. Stay tuned to watch our journey to get there. We hope you enjoy the video and thanks for watching!
