️🇷🇺🇺🇦 Chronicles of the Special Military Operation: Events of February 4-5, 2024 ▪️ Russian troops have once again attacked enemy targets in the rear regions of Ukraine. In the Dnipropetrovsk region, the energy infrastructure in Krivoy Rog was affected, resulting in interruptions in electricity and water supply in the city. ▪️ Meanwhile, on the special operation fronts, Russian troops are engaged in fierce fighting along the entire line of contact. Near Kupiansk, assault troops were able to capture several enemy positions to the west of Synkivka. ▪️ In the Lyman direction, Russian units are attempting to advance towards Terny through the Broad Ravine. However, their progress is being hindered by the active use of drones by Ukrainian formations. ▪️ At the same time, the enemy once again targeted the front-line territory of the Lugansk People’s Republic with missile attacks from the HIMARS MLRS. In Lisichansk, a bakery building was hit, resulting in the death of 28 people, including a child. ▪️ Near Bakhmut, Russian troops were able to expand their zone of control to some extent in the heights area of Bogdanovka. To the southeast, assault troops continue to push through enemy defenses on the approaches to Krasnoye. ▪️ In the Donetsk direction, Russian units are still storming the long-term fortified positions of the AFU in Avdeevka. The main battles are concentrated in the north of the city, specifically in the area of the Ivushka gardening partnership and south of the village of Veseloye. ▪️ To the southwest of Donetsk, Russian troops are attempting to advance and break through the defenses in the eastern part of Georgievka.
